Rinver Song Cosplay set

Last winter I helped a good lady friend of mine with the props for a River Song cosplay.
She needed a Meson blaster, a leather holster and the studded learher corset/belt to go with it.
So I made these.
The gun model is originally from Thingeverse, 3D printed by me and then modified. Then painting and weathering.
The holster and corset belt I made from scratch usung real leather, leather sewing darkening with leather stain and finally leather balm.

I didn't have time to model my own because this was all done on spare time after work 2 weeeks before the Con we were going to, however this is a pretty great model to start from.

I 3D printed it and then I put about 20 hours into modifying int with cutting, filling and sanding it to look closer to the original hero prop.

Model printed as downloaded from Thingeverse but added scew and washer on the shight rail.

In the process of enhancing the model.
Barrel cowl cut back, thimbra added to build up parts that are incorrectly rounded off on 3D model or missing compared to Screenshots from the series episodes showing the blaster. 

Then came painting and weathering.

Then I made the wide belt from natural vegetable tanned leather and rifle buttons.

Then I stained the pouch and made the gadget with led light

French 50s surplus dual ammo pouch, stained dark brown, then equipped with battery pack, diode and "ghost" gadget?... I have no idea what it really is, just how it looks on the show.  The thing is made from two sandwiched layers of Thimbra and painted white here.

And finally the holster, which later was also stained dark brown.
